Critical Care HOPE
Critical Care Hope is a Tele-ICU initiative by Apex Hospitals that takes tertiary-level medical expertise to remote and semi-urban locations through a network of partner hospitals. Operated through the HOPE Command Centre, it ensures the right care reachesthe right patient at the right time, using technology to maximise healthcare resourceswhere they are needed most. Through a combination of virtual command centres and strategic on-ground partnerships, Critical Care Hope ensures that no patient is denied high-quality intensive care, regardless of their geographic location. By leveraging advanced technologies such as Tele-ICU, Remote ICU, and Digital ICU systems, the initiative connects rural healthcare facilities with highly trained intensivists and specialists in real time. This enables continuous patient monitoring, rapid expert consultations, and timely life-saving interventions, ensuring that even the most remote hospitals can provide care on par with top-tier urban medical centres.

Our Mission
At Critical Care Hope, our mission is to be the "Guardian Angels of ICU”, delivering the critical care expertise and support that patients need to recover and thrive.
Our Vision
To lead the way in transforming critical care delivery through state-of-the-art tele-health solutions and expert medical care, ensuring that patients have access to the highest level
of care no matter where they are.
Why Critical Care Hope Matters
India faces a severe shortage of ICU infrastructure and trained intensivists:
Only 1 trained intensivist per 100,000 population
- Just 2.3 ICU beds per 1,00,000 people, compared to 31.7 in high-income countries
These gaps contribute to higher mortality rates, longer hospital stays, and unaffordable care for many
At Critical Care Hope, we're actively working to solve this crisis by:
Providing 24×7 specialist supervision to partner ICUs through the HOPE Command Centre
Reducing unnecessary referrals to higher centres — keeping patients closer to home, where care is more affordable and families can stay involved
Building a sustained network of protocol-driven, technology-supported critical care
We make Critical Care Affordable
With ICU costs ranging from ₹40,000–₹50,000/day, we reduce financial burden by localizing advanced care and minimizing unnecessary transfers.
