At Apex Hospital in Mansarovar, Jaipur, the neurosurgery team comprises a multidisciplinary group of experts who work together to deliver safe, evidence-based care for disorders of the brain, spine and peripheral nerves. Our core team includes attending neurosurgeons, spine surgeons, pediatric neurosurgeons, endovascular specialists, neuroanesthesiologists, neurointensivists and physiatrists. Each member brings a combination of clinical experience and advanced training: many of our neurosurgeons have over 12 years of experience and training from premier centers such as PGIMER and international fellowships including Wooridul Hospital, South Korea.
Team roles and collaborative approach:
- Neurosurgeons – lead diagnosis, surgical planning and perform microsurgical, endovascular and minimally invasive spine operations.
- Pediatric neurosurgeon – specialist care for children with hydrocephalus, congenital spine disorders and pediatric brain tumours.
- Endovascular specialist – manages aneurysm coiling, stroke thrombectomy and vessel malformations through catheter-based techniques.
- Neurointensivists and dedicated neuro ICU nurses – provide critical care and post-operative monitoring in our dedicated Neuro ICU.
- Neurorehabilitation team – physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists who build recovery plans after surgery or stroke.
We emphasize a patient-centered, multidisciplinary model: every complex case is discussed in a weekly neuro board meeting that includes radiology, oncology, neurology and rehabilitation specialists. This ensures that each patient receives a tailored plan—surgical or non-surgical—based on the latest evidence and technology. Apex Hospital’s neurosurgery unit has a proven track record with over 2,550 brain surgeries, 2,400 spine surgeries and management of more than 12,000 neurological patients, reflecting extensive local experience in Jaipur and the surrounding Mansarovar area.
