Kidney Failure

Kidney failure (renal failure) is the inability of one or both kidneys to function correctly on their own. Sometimes, acute kidney failure is temporary and develops rapidly. Occasionally, it is a chronic (long-term) condition that gradually worsens. The most severe stage of kidney disease is renal failure.
