Initial Consultation & Diagnostic Workup

Transplant Planning & Donor Search

Based on your diagnosis, the team identifies the most suitable transplant type — autologous, matched allogeneic, or haploidentical. Conditioning & Transplant (Day 0)

A conditioning regimen (high-dose chemotherapy, with or without radiation) is administered over 5–7 days to prepare the body. On Day 0, stem cells are infused through an intravenous line — the process is similar to a blood transfusion. The patient stays in the clean room isolation unit throughout this phase.

Engraftment & In-patient Recovery (3–5 Weeks)

The infused stem cells travel to the bone marrow and begin producing blood cells — a process called engraftment, typically occurring within 2–4 weeks. The team monitors daily for engraftment success, infection, and graft-versus-host disease (GvHD). Nutritional support and infection control are managed closely.
