Apex Hospitals Malviya Nagar Launches Mobile ECMO Service for Critically Ill Patients

Apex Hospitals, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur, has launched a Mobile ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) service to provide advanced life-saving support for critically ill patients during inter-hospital transfers. Mobile ECMO is designed for patients requiring immediate extracorporeal life support, particularly those suffering from conditions such as severe cardiac failure, respiratory failure, or other life-threatening emergencies where conventional treatment alone may not be sufficient. The Mobile ECMO unit is equipped with advanced critical care technology, including a portable ECMO machine, ventilator, multiparameter monitor, infusion pumps, and other essential emergency equipment. Each transfer is managed by a dedicated team comprising an ECMO specialist, perfusionist, critical care physician, trained critical care nurses, and emergency medical technicians, ensuring continuous monitoring and expert care throughout the journey.
