Jaipur 19th April, 2026

Apex Hospital, Malviya Nagar, marked a significant milestone on Thursday with the launch of robotic orthopaedic and joint replacement surgery. The new robotic system was inaugurated by Chief Guest Hon'ble Kalicharan Saraf, Ex-Health Minister, Government of Rajasthan and MLA, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur.

The occasion was also graced by Special Guests Mrs. Suman Sharma, State Spokesperson, BJP and Ex-President, Rajasthan State Women Commission, and Mr. Sunil Badjatya, Treasurer, BJP, Malviya Nagar Mandal. Hospital Chairman Dr. S.B. Jhawar, Director Dr. Sachin Jhawar, and the orthopaedic team comprising Dr. Ashish Rana, Dr. Sandeep Garg, and Dr. Himanshu Khichar were also present, along with a large gathering of guests and well-wishers.

Addressing the audience, MLA Kalicharan Saraf commended the Apex team for their commitment to public service. He described the introduction of robotic surgery as a new milestone in the hospital's journey, adding that the hospital's growth from Malviya Nagar to a network spanning Uttar Pradesh reflects its dedication to patient care.

Dr. Ashish Rana explained that the most significant advantage of robotic orthopaedic surgery is the elimination of pre-operative CT scans, the robot performs all necessary screening on its own. This translates into greater surgical precision, smaller incisions, reduced bleeding, and faster recovery. In most cases, patients treated with this technology do not require post-operative physiotherapy either.

The program concluded with Dr. S.B. Jhawar extending a vote of thanks to all guests and attendees.
