Apex Hospitals Udaipur Marks World Health Day with Preventive Health Initiative at ITC Ekaaya
Udaipur. 7th April, 2026
On the occasion of World Health Day, 7th April, Apex Hospitals, Udaipur, organised a patient awareness initiative at Mementos by ITC Hotels Ekaaya, Udaipur, in association with FinbrellaTech.
The event brought together preventive health screenings and expert-led education under one programme. Attendees had access to a free health check-up camp offering blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar testing, and bone mineral density assessment, screenings that are critical for early detection of conditions that often go unnoticed until they become serious.
The highlight of the event was an expert session on stroke and its prevention, conducted by Dr. Mukesh Singh Bhadoria, Consultant, Neurosurgery, Apex Hospitals. The session addressed the early warning signs of stroke, the major risk factors that increase an individual's vulnerability, and practical lifestyle changes that can significantly reduce the risk. Given that stroke remains one of the leading causes of death and disability in India, timely awareness can make a critical difference to patient outcomes.
Speaking on the occasion, the Apex team emphasised that most people tend to ignore early health indicators until complications arise, and that changing this mindset is precisely what initiatives like this aim to achieve. Preventive healthcare, they noted, is not optional. It is the difference between early intervention and serious, avoidable complications.
The event reflected Apex Hospitals' broader commitment to community health, reaching people before illness escalates, and equipping them with the knowledge and tools to take charge of their own wellbeing.
