Experience
Cath Lab Experience (King George’s Medical University): Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI): Primary operator in 300+ PCI procedures, including Primary PCI. Skilled in IVUS and OCT-guided interventions to optimize outcomes. Assisted in over 1,000 complex PCI cases, with active involvement in lesion assessment and procedural planning.
Cardiac Device Implantation: Independently performed 400+ permanent pacemaker implantations (PPI). Proficient in the implantation of ICDs, CRT-Ds, and leadless pacemakers.
Structural and Congenital Interventions: Experienced in Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), Balloon Mitral Valvotomy (BMV), Balloon Pulmonary Valvotomy (BPV), Atrial Septal Defects (ASD) and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) device closures.
Electrophysiological Procedures: Experienced in Electrophysiology Studies(EPS) and Radiofrequency Ablations (RFA) with 3D electroanatomic mapping systems for complex arrhythmia cases.
Peripheral Vascular Interventions: Proficient in procedures like coarctoplasty, IVC filter placement, and pulmonary thrombectomy.
Critical Care & Echocardiography Extensive experience in managing the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) for 3+ years, with hands-on responsibility for acute cardiac emergencies including ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), cardiogenic shock, complex arrhythmias, and advanced cardiac life support during cardiac arrest. Proficient in 2D transthoracic (TTE), transoesophageal (TEE), and 3D transthoracic echocardiography (3D-TTE) for real-time diagnostics.
Teaching & Academic Contributions Led weekly teaching sessions for junior residents, focusing on Cath lab protocols, echocardiographic interpretation, and the management of cardiac emergencies. Actively facilitated cross-disciplinary collaboration with departments such as anaesthesiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and internal medicine to ensure comprehensive patient care.
